All Members are to notify those immediately above them in the chain of command
of vacations, out of town trips and extended periods of unavailability. This
includes weekends and holidays. This will allow your DCO or CRO to know if they
can call upon you in the event of an activation.

Routine: 04/02/2007, 1122 Hours

The next quarterly new member training day will be on May 12, 2007 at the County
Emergency Operations Center. New members are asked to arrive at 0800 hours
to complete the application process before the classes start. The classes
offered for new members will be Basic, Message Handling, and an overview of
Emergency Management. For current members there will be a Traffic Class from
0830 to 1030, however space is limited. In order to attend the Traffic class
you MUST reserve a spot. For the first time a new class on Hydration will
be offered from 1100
– 1200 and from 1200 – 1300 and a DCO/CRO Forum will run from 1000

Thank you to all members that participated in Operation Walkout on March 30.
This was the first activation for the Rapid Deployment Team and the response
from all of the agencies and command staff was extremely positive. Congratulations
on a job well done.
