We would like to welcome the new members who completed the Saturday training
class. We look forward to hearing you on the nets and having you participate
in events. You may contact the DCS office at (323) 980 - 2246 to make arrangements
to get your ID Card. Thank you to all who supported the training.

The new DCS Identification cards are ready for distribution. Current members
can make arrangements to exchange ID cards on Saturday March 3, 2007, between
1100 and 1400 hours at the CEOC by contacting Debby Miles, Staff 11 at KN6YAP21-DCS@yahoo.com
or by calling the DCS office. Additional dates will be
available in the near future. Effective May 1, 2007, your old ID card will not
be a valid DCS identification.

Baker to Vegas Meeting. You are invited to attend a meeting on March 3, 2007,
from 0900 - 1100 hours at the CEOC regarding the Baker to Vegas Race. This meeting
is to provide information on policies and procedures for reporting time and
to ask questions. Any DCS member involved with the Baker to Vegas race is welcome,
however, at least one member of each group should attend.

Countywide DCS Emergency Response Team. I would like to thank Crescenta Valley,
Century, Lakewood, Lomita and Carson Stations for providing the names of members
that have agreed to join. During the March 12 net we will be requesting the
name of a candidate from any station who has not provided one. You can email
the members name to Staff 66 prior to March 12 or contact me via same
with any questions.

You must adhere to the DCS dress code when participating in any DCS event including
training sessions, drills and Monday night nets. Appropriate attire for all
members is the Official DCS uniform, the beige or green DCS ID shirt, black
or green pants or business casual attire. Your DCS Idenfication Card must be
worn in plain view at all times. Any members not adhering to this dress code
or without an ID Card will be asked to leave the event.
